🦘Which Sellers Do You Trust? Here's Cacatman's Top 29 People I think I can trust to buy from! šŸ˜‚

Oh, the stories I could tell......;)
If it’s pertaining to any of my lists which involve someone paying money to someone else, I’d ask you to let me know the facts confidentially.

Otherwise spill it to @OakleyBoss. He can’t do anything if he doesn’t know who the wolves in sheep’s clothing are. And although I’m certain it’s well less than 1% of members, they still can cause a lot of problems and sink a lot of people by their dishonesty.

Most people work hard for their money. It makes me angry to know that there are some incredibly selfish people who are exploiting people’s love of Oakleys for personal dishonest gain. I have no problem sinking those people if they don’t come around and ā€œdo the right thingā€.

100%

I will always ā€œWord to the wiseā€ in the relevant shell-likes if I am aware of anything untoward or I believe there is a Fox in the Hen house.

Not saying yes or no, but I'm sure people can draw their own conclusions by looking at the timeline. ;)

You know me. As soon as new information becomes available, I attempt to refine, change or adjust my lists as soon as possible to be more accurate and updated, hence the notification and last edited date at the top of all my lists (although admittedly, I've stood up @hondazcrxsi up a couple of times with his useful lens cutting information, which necessitated gentle prodding. He's taken it well and surprisingly, still shares information with me!!!! Thanks bro! Editor’s note - @devin915 and @htrap2294 also proved me to be a liar for leaving their auto gearbox watches off a list. Sorry, fellas!!)
updated @devin915 and @htrap2294 late entries.

If others respond, please limit your comments to the facts.

Firstly, I apologise to @Zax for forgetting to put you on this list way earlier. I've had a number of successful individual transactions with you. I also know others who have dealt with you and you're a standup guy. I've spoken to you directly a few times as well and believe that you're a genuine collector.

I wouldn't have written a clarification below if a recent seller hadn't left revenge negative feedback for @Zax. I need to justify why I will still list a person with negative feedback.

(Update 24th Jan - negative feedback for @Zax was withdrawn, presumably by the mods)

My understanding was that @Zax paid promptly but when the item was received, had valid concerns. I crosschecked the seller's description myself and they were in fact described as "perfect and new...". I don't think I'm wrong if I assume that "perfect and new" = 10/10 condition (or at least 9.8/10).

I saw pictures of the actual item myself. They were far from perfect. And definitely not new. Lenses were scratched and the pairs had obviously been used for a while, judging from the gunk under the ear rubbers. Not what I expect for "PERFECT AND NEW". It is true the seller offered $60 refund. However, it's nearly impossible to find original "new and perfect" lenses for this particular pair. And certainly not for that sort of money. Regardless. It was totally inaccurate (and some would say dishonest) to describe them in this fashion in the first place, regardless of what was offered as compensation. It's irrelevant if the price was super-high or super-low.

O.F. is not eBay which doesn't allow a seller to give negative feedback if the buyer has paid in a timely fashion.

@Zax - Does a lot for this community behind the scenes. Honest hardworking dude who has a genuine love for Oakleys. Also does custom stuff including 3D printing as a hobby.

Disclosure - I have not had and have no financial/business partnerships with @Zax. Nor is he a relative or a particularly close friend.
