@BjorsIndustrial have you considered using

-Donor nose bridge and stems?
-trying non-split orbitals? This would emphasise the Eye Jacket theme
With a non-split orbital, you'd probably have too much unyielding weight on your face. The Eye Jackets do 'give', with their design, the O-matter flexes, but you wouldn't get anywhere near that flex occurring with 'X Metal Eye Jackets'.
