XX Twenty Midnight/H.I. Blue

I’m really new to all this, and it amazes me how some people bought these sunglasses 25 years ago and either never used them or managed to keep them in such incredible condition - even the box and papers inside feel like it came straight from the store.

The XX Twenty definitely feels more durable than the Minute, but at least now I know I prefer the style of the Minute more than this one. I was also expecting the lenses on this pair to be like Persimmons, but they’re not. They’re more like clear lenses with a bluish coat. I feel like they shouldn’t have called it H.I. Blue Anyway, I’m pretty happy with this pair overall.

Awesome pair man waiting to get a pair of XX Twenty's. Wanted to ask if all your recent purchases have been through the forum exclusively or if you got this pair and the Minutes from somewhere locally?

My purchases are mixed, some I got from eBay, some locally.
I haven't gotten lucky getting a pair from this forum, as most of the beautiful pieces get sold here fast, and some, I feel, just don't want to deal with accounts that aren't highly vetted yet, just like me .. understandably so. I guess you need to earn a bit of trust in the community first.

Be careful what you wish for Brother. Because then in 6 months you go Holly F**k I’ve added over 130 pairs. Not a matter of trust buying. In most cases the ones here that are letting them go are either making space or hoping they find somewhere that they will get FaceTime again. .
I never thought of myself as a collector. For the most part wore them a year then sold them for the next. There was a bunch I just completely missed back then. Scars, NSJ2, Monster Dog, Pit Boss & PB2…. You catch my drift.
So I went on recovery mode getting back some of the ones I’d sold and completely missed back then. But once I got going. They started PM’s. Hey interested in these before I post them? Not complaining in any manner. Was pretty cool that they remembered the new kid asking. I had a handful of OG’s take me under their wings so to speak. They always had time for the little Brother questions and never pointed me in a bad direction and always got me to another Great O-Teammate.
