Just sad how these have held up. I’ve been very gentle with them and the frame is peeling where it touches my skin. I’ve had them for two years and have worn them 2-3 days a week roughly since then. I’ve always worn matte black because historically Oakley hasn’t painted these frames and I’ve worn some for as many 5 years. These have never been dropped or mishandled. I’ve kept the original warm grey lenses for backups but by the time the lenses are needed the frames will be looking so bad they’ll need to be retired or refinished. They look fine while being worn but it’s sad to see so much wear from basic daily use. In comparison I’ve dropped my Randolph Engineering Aviators countless times but other than a couple dings in the frame and one small scratch on the lens they are really no worse for wear at 6 years old.
Other than that they look great but it’s just disappointing to see matte black is now a painted finish.
