Any Sneakerheads In The House?

I think the way Nike is trying to read the consumer base is interesting.

13's have generally sat lately. The Playoff release a 2-3 years ago was probably a barometer. I expect the Black/Reds to go fast, though. I do want a replacement pair with the better toecap.

12's and 14's as well, notably when the quality is off (Taxi 12's, Black Toe 14's)

4's we're hot in recent years, and seem to still be holding. The Laker 4's went seemingly immediately. It could just be a stock issue, and it is another one of those drops that can be seen as "We Have Travis Scott F&F's at home", but I'll also give credit to the fire generally being fire. The WC4's were an interesting exception. Seems like Nike decided to make loads of them because collectors could even double back to chase specific factory builds. My local spots seemed to get a run of LN2 factory stock a couple months later.

5's currently hot. I imagine that tax return timing kicked in for the Wolf Greys.

11's generally hot, but I think holiday season fuels that.

10's are the weird one for me. Nike seemingly made them limited on purpose with the last 2 releases, probably because the last run of 10's a few years ago sat

Nike and the Jordan brand are pretty smart and savvy business doers lol. Money 💴 money 💴 money 💴 when u have that many Jordan’s drop off in a week and colabs too. The Taylor 3 sold out immediately lol
Green with vines on it.

It's been a good minute since we got Foams with an elaborate graphic on it. Unfortunately I haven't gotten around to taking out my last 3 Foams yet.

Low key Answer DMX sighting in the back.!

I wear the Anthracite and the University blue's (The blues go great with Chicago city flag colored Bears/Bulls/Cubs gear). I haven't worn the Galaxy foams yet, It's going to have to be some special reason to break those out. I'm going to wear the Vecnas though. I already have the perfect shirt and hat to match those.

Old school DMX was the most comfortable cushioning system ever. I had those in high school and I was surprised they brought the actual tech back for the retro Answers. I used to buy the DMX mall walking shoes for work at a tire shop when I was a teen too. lol. those were so comfortable with the air moving from the front to back of the shoe even if they didn't look like anything cool.

I’m an NB guy, but when I saw the neon 90s, had to have them.

I’m somewhat of a sneaker-head, more as in my history knowledge than how many pairs I have sitting in my home. Though I’ve owned a great sum of Jordan’s in my life but I wear them as daily’s/beaters.

Currently on feet atm are some Jordan 4 Bred/Black cement reimagines from 2024. It’s crazy to say that I’ve been wearing these for a little over 2 years.

I also have a pair of Travis Scott Jordan 1 lows. To be more specific, the medium olives. I was surprised I was able to hit for retail on the nike snkrs app. I also own a pair of 1985 Nike Vandal Highs. I know this seems like a random shoe to own, especially one that’ll be 41 years old this year, but it is because I have it in a specific colorway. If anyone has seen the original terminator film from 1984, the hero of the story, Kyle Reese, steals a pair when he arrives to the past after time traveling. His color way is of Black, white, and metallic silver, which is the same one I own as well. I also have an extra pair that I’ve been meaning to fix up so I can have one as a true beater shoe.
