Hi everyone

Hope some of you will and can help me.

I’ve just received a new pair of Oakley Sutro Lite Sweep (OO9465-0339) from a big internet company.

Before I bought the sunglasses I wrote to the seller if they could guarantee that the sunglasses would be brand new and never tried on before.

I’ve just received the sunglasses and here are my observations:

1) There wasn’t plastic on the one of the tempels(arms)

2) There wasn’t a sticker on the glass saying “PRIZM”

3) There wasn’t plastic bag on the extra nose pad

Does the above missing thing’s indicates that the sunglasses has been worn / been to another costumer before me?

What are your thoughts?

I really hope somebody can help.

Thank you very much.

Hold the glasses up to a bright light source and rock them back-and-forth while looking through the lenses. You’ll know if they are use or not.

Hi

There are no scratches if that’s what you are thinking of. But the seller promised me, that they were brand new and no one even would have tried them. The three indicators mentioned above imho indicates that someone else has had them home for a try… don’t you think ?

I wouldn't necessarily say that. Things have been changing. Ive gotten quite a few pairs without stickers lately directly from Oakley. Same with the arm cover and the nose piece. Just not all at the same time.

I think they are phasing some of that stuff out for cost reasons. My last polarized pair only had the polarized sticker, no Prizm sticker. Both spare nose pads came loose in the case. That was an encoder strike.

We'll see some of this stuff disappear overtime as cost reductions just like they started phasing out the spare nose pads on some models.

I am referring to any blemishes that you could possibly see, like smudge marks on the lenses if they were used.

Thanks for your answer. So you don’t necessarily think they have been packed out before?

You think I should keep them?

Thanks for your time.
