Best Luxottica Oakley Releases in your opinion?

Jawbone and Jawbreaker. Very functional with crazy cool aesthetics. Madman as well. Not functional but very OTT.

I really like the JFL as well, though I'd imagine it was somewhat of a carryover from the days before the evil empire... I think the Tincan Carbon and Tinfoil Carbon were a good later design and similar the JFL. They have hinges that look cool and actually work. There is real carbon fiber (not very much, but it's there) and are very comfortable.

Tincan and Tinfoil are nice and probably underrated. I would like to give them a try but like most newer Oakleys, they are way overpriced.

this.

the Tincan pewter BIP is the only Lux design i have even wanted so far. i have it and i think it is great and fits right in with pre-Lux quality and design of the brand. i didn't pay retail for it so price was not bad.

the metal Holbrooks that are coming out might be another winner for me. i'm 99% sure of that if they are built like the Tincan, but i wont know till i can get my hands on one. i am not sure that counts though, because it is a pre Lux design i already love just in a different material.

the Two Face gets an honorable mention.

none of the current offerings on Oakley's website on this exact day do anything for me besides providing lens cut options. lol.

Unless my timeline read is wrong, it actually has to be the Holbrook (2010 is what I caught on O-Review) imo. It became their best-seller last I remember from some vendor posts here. They managed to adapt the Frog's popularity into a second offering and pave the way for the Oakley's squared casual looks going into this day. There's a bit of legacy in how they expanded the line to the LX/FL/Carbon and now metal.

Can't really fly with the Badman/Madman, most anyone can see right through the attempt to milk the X-Metal name. They're forgettable. By design they completely contradicted Oakley's tradition of trying to dish out quality, and the materials in themselves was a shortcut more than innovation. Only significance imo is that they were a prime example of Lux-O's changing business practices.

I'm going to list some candidates but some were 2009-2010ish and I suspect still born out of the pre Lux regime

Fuel Cell
Holbrook
Scalpel
Ten X (with the Scalpel among the most underrated frames ever)
Batwolf

Oh- and Jawbreaker. If they'd make a "mid size" version I'd buy multiples.
