Buy and Selling - How does it work?

Hey all, just joined recently and have a question about purchasing items in here.

I posted a few days ago saying I’m interested n buying some OO Square.

Some emailed me directly saying they have some for sale. I was expecting someone to comment on my post and message each other through the forum.

Is this normal? My suspicious radar immediately peaked.

One wonders how they got the email…if all you did was post a WTB thread and provided no personal data…

Yes! I found it very weird. It said “Hi buddy, got your message interested in buying the 00 Squares. I have mine available in a very good condition and please let me know how you would like to proceed.”

No member username no. It's an email though so i can reply to the address it was sent from...looks like random gmail address.

My two cents...I'd want a username and be able to check if they have 'any' feedback. I'm still headscratching over how they got your email address...I mean no man is an island in this digital age...but still...
