This just popped up for me on my Instagram account. They are obviously fakes, but some people can be deceived . Looks like we are going to see more and more of those around since the patents are expired. 👀👀

I've handled several of the fakes - they are great if you have a very small head, don't mind sunglasses that weigh more than twice what a real X Metal weighs, and don't care about quality (or safe) lenses.

If you've got a tiny head and want to work on your head and neck weight lifting skills, and have no care for the safety of your eyes, a fake is slightly less awful that being hit as a result of stepping on a rake. 🤣

This year there have been more fakes than I think I have ever seen. I got duped on a XX that looked so real I bought it and when it got here the weight was obviously off. Im getting refunded but the seller had no idea and I believe them and to be honest the glasses were solid.... not the flimsy Tin foil I have seen before. Would be heavy as heck on the nose though.

Then there is our friend in the Ukraine who has flooded the market with all sorts of fakes.... Just be careful and if something in the back of your head says "it aint' quite right" then it likely isn't.
