Fast Jacket replacement lenses

I really liked the fast jackets too and I saw your pair and thought ‘why didn’t I ever get that matte green color frame??’

Then I realized they were probably fake. Oakley did make fast jackets in a ‘team green’ color but that was a brighter green. That color did come with vr28 lenses which it looks like your frame manufactured tried to duplicate.

Most definitely fake; Oakley never made a frame color like that in the Fasts.

I actually am with you though in trying to find replacement lenses; super hard to find now, even older Half Jacket lenses are easier to find.

I know nothing about fast jackets, but those look very fake to me.

I know this is an old thread, but these look like 'good' fakes. By 'good,' I mean the counterfeiter got a lot of it right. E.G.: The raised 'o''s are what I expect to see, and the shape of everything is correct. I have a genuine pair of Fast Jacket sunglasses, and in comparing them to these photos. HOWEVER, the letters in the word "Jacket" stamped on the inner arm are extremely lame. The 'J' is terrible, the 'A' is missing the adjoining '-' between the two / \, the 'T' isn't crossed at the top ... All of that is a dead giveaway. On my genuine fast jacket glasses, all of the letters are smooth and look right. I hope this helps someone else.

Well I guess the good thing is fast jackets are still fairly available of you like the frame.

I can't find genuine Fast Jacket lenses anywhere. I very much like the frame and have only the original lenses that came with the glasses when I bought them in the mid 2000's. Any idea where I can buy genuine Fast Jacket lenses?

The other dead giveaway that they are fakes are the letters in "Fast Jacket" inside one of the arms. I.E., the 'A' is missing the '-' between the /\, the 2nd T isn't crossed, and the 'J' and 'c' look like little bubbles.

Not sure if this was ever found out but I have a Fast Jacket pair and the lettering is different on mine than yours. When I buy new lenses, I go to either Revant Optics or Seek Optics. I have never had an issue fitting them in. I usually get the XL. Hopefully this helps if you are still trying to figure out a solution. Thanks,
