I picked up some Gen 1 M-Frames from @BoostBear (thanks again buddy, great transaction) that didn't have earsocks. I was digging through my case and my M-Frame parts and found I had some black with white logo Gen 2 temples, nose pieces, and a few sets of Gen 1/Gen 2 style ear socks.
For the earsocks, one pair in blue were a perfect size for the Gen 1's, so I mounted them up on the Crystal Blue frames with blue hybrids he sent along, and happened to have a blue rubbered nose piece to match.
So here is my actual question. There were another pair of ear socks in black that looked just like the blue ones, but a little shorter, like 3mm or so. When I was comparing them, they would definitely be a bit short on the Gen 1 or Gen 2 temples. I'll add a pic once I'm back home and I can put them side by side, but I was wondering if anyone knew what they were for. Or did they maybe shrink or something?
