Hello everyone,
I'm new to the forum but have owned several pairs of Oakley sunglasses before. My first pair was a black iridium lens, carbon (black) framed A-wires (which I still have. I also have black frame, black iridium Flak Jacket 1.0. The A-wires are the original painted black frame. I had a pair of metallic blue minutes, but sadly they broke in 2015 while wearing them. The mid point on the arms snapped off. I kept them because my Dad bought them for me in the late 90's after high school so they are sentimental.
All my Oakleys are non-polarized, since polarized sunglasses give me headaches. My biggest Oakley regret is talking myself out of buying Juliet X-Metal with black iridium lens in 2000 or 2001. Interesting story: my Dad wore bifocals, but after high school we found out for some reason he didn't need to wear them if he wore my A_wires or Minutes (non-prescription). He's passed now, but I can still remember him trying on a pair and exclaiming "oh my gosh I can see!" From that moment on, the only sunglasses I've ever worn are Oakleys.
I suppose that's enough of an intro. Thanks for having me in the group!!
