Hello all,
I am in need of advice and knowledge regarding the Oakley GMT World Time Chronograph. A little bit of backstory, I recently started wearing watches after my father gifted me his old Tag Heuer, long story short I had completely forgotten I was gifted a never worn Oakley GMT years ago. When I took it to change the battery, the watchmaker informed me that the battery had corroded and I would need a new “board”. I am hoping to get it repaired but would like to keep the parts original if possible. The watchmaker informed me he would get a third party replacement and give me a 2 year warranty. If anyone knows a way to get an original replacement parts or can share their experience of getting their GMT repaired w original or 3rd party parts that would be very much appreciated.
