Hi Oakley fans

You’ve officially convinced me to try my hand at a Juliet repair!

Just a couple follow up questions

Do you think the pin removal tool was useful?

What stiffness did end up using for the nose bridge flex coupler?

Did you only need the needle file to remove the dirt from the back frame surface?
I personally would not attempt to remove the pin without a tool.

I purchased both level of stiffness, but ultimately installed the 80 because I have a big melon and need a little bit of flex.

I don't know why I was able to push the pin out easily, but not reinstall it easily. I used the needle file to file down the nose bridge hole little by little until I was able to push it in 75% (refer to Lopaka's DIY Garage for a reference photo of what I mean). Then I used the pin pusher tool for the remaining 25%.

Awesome!! Thank you so much for the advice! Now I just need to find a pair and pick up the tools.

How long was the shipping from Linegear?

Less than a week from Japan to Virginia! Might’ve even been 3-4 business days.
