What did I find? I've never heard of a 67.. but it's really really good shape.

That’s a great pickup. One of the original Mumbo Colors. Does it have black arms?
Yes, it's all original and (pretty much) unworn, but the nose piece looks like a blade nose (no ridges) its smooth and the arms are black.
The lady I got them from said, " I bought these new with a pair of razor blades at the same time and only wore the blades, these just sat in a drawer at my moms house ever since". (That's why she only had the ear stems and they're also unused) both are straight unfortunately because she used the triggers.

Pretty nice find, especially in that condition with the box. Those boxes are very fragile and the ends break off easily so be careful. The o-matter formula used at that time was also brittle so wear with caution. Let me know if you ever want to trade or sell it. :spiteful:

Any idea why they would be a jumble of parts like this? (Black arms, blade nose)? Did they make MPH or custom versions back then, or is it just assembled parts?

I've also never seen clear grey blade stems. Were they kit box only, or did they have a pair that they came from?

im guessing the arms have been replaced at some point. The original mambos like yours were made from serelium which was very brittle like the splatter m frames so often broke.
