Luxottica can't repair Oakley Minute Machine? What's Next?

So a quick update on this. Watch came back from Luxotica repaired......and broken!! The crown was repaired, however, now the date does not change!! Local jewelry store says no can do. Any suggestions again?

I've not repaired a date problem. But can replace the whole movement. I just can't find the movements with the black date ring. Only with white date ring with black numbers. It's possible to swap the date rings I just need to learn the process.

How much does replacing movement in these watches? General rule of thumb

That's for the white date movements tho like in the hollow point. I've yet to find any with the black date rings available.

So I gather that the date ring itself is the issue? It's not something that could be re-used? Either way, if it's something you think you can do, I'd send it your way.

The date ring can be removed from the problematic movement and put onto a new movement I just don't know how to do it at the moment. There's just a couple screws that hold it down but I don't know the proper way to go about swapping them and aligning them back to the correct orientation. So not something I can do at this time.
