Newby with Oakley Juliet X-Metal sunglasses

Ok, thanks for the help. Suddenly there are nearly no such glasses on eBay in europe. Because of the condition i will better try selling them in this forum after i‘m allowed to.

From somewhere in Northern California
Leave the dust marks. Those can’t be duplicated. It would take years😉
If it was my box to keep and hold. I’d spray a clear coat on that beautiful natural artwork.
The glasses cleaning. Run Luke warm water. You need 2 wash cloths. The kind you were supposed to use in the shower. (if you’re not using them in the shower.) gross.
Start rinsing those under the faucet. Plenty of water. Use #1 wash cloths to work those lenses first. Rinsing and rubbing. Now we’re working our way all around the rest of the glasses. Rubbers too. Careful not to spread any of that sticky back on the lenses.
Washcloth #2 we are drying the lens. Hold them up to the light. Try every nook and cranny. Those rubber should be OK to dry also.
The rubbers. A little bit of hand sanitizer. Maybe a Q-tip/cotton swab for the hard to reach. The rubber look pretty good actually in the pictures.

So another question to the experts.

I followed different Autoindustrie auf Juliet X Metals and the price range seems to be between 300 and 800 Euro per unit. What could be the better option, selling at eBay or looking for a fan in this forum?

Try your luck here, if you don't get the right offers, then off to an auction site. However, please be aware, we do know the true value, so may not be to your liking.

Ok, i‘ll try my luck when i‘m allowed to do this in the future. It‘s not my intention to steel someones money but even all the years ago i paid a lot of money for these sunglasses…

But as a noob it is not easy to set a fair price.
Carbon juliet with matching box $350-400, polished/fire matching box around $400. Assuming both do not have the original lens. Afternarket lens have to value in the secondary market unless of course they're Dillons

The box: It's cardboard, so I would be very delicate with it. I've had luck with a very slightly damp cloth and wiping it down.
The glasses: The rubber may be too far gone (sticky/tacky), but I would try some dish soap. I wet the glasses, lather my hands with dish soap, then massage all parts of the glasses; lenses, rubbers, skin contact points of the frame. Pat dry with a soft cloth, then let sit in open air so all the crevasses can dry. Use a microfiber for the lenses after completely dry to touch up any smudges.
Rubbing alcohol can save some rubber sets that are going sticky but if they have rotted to a certain point there is no saving them
