Did anyone else see this? Or any Japan members get in on this?
I saw an article today from Acquire magazine that Oakley rereleased the Juliet in Japan last month! According to the article; "A raffle for the Oakley MUZM X-Metal Juliet Prizm Ruby Polar is set for this Saturday, November 21st at the Shibuya Oakley store in Tokyo, Japan." They were asking ¥232,980 (approx. $1,487) for a new in box Juliet! They only made 100 but I would have swam there to get in on that.

Yup, it comes with a special case that you can get off Amazon for a fraction of the price, and also it’s a plasma frame. So basically your paying 5 times the amount for of the most common Juliet ever made. You didn’t miss much

Yeah but it's got that new car smell! haha. These recent rereleases all seem to be 3D printed and not cast like the originals so I'm not sure about the durability vs cast. I hear the military is experimenting with printing replacement parts in the field, but they have a lot more money to throw at it. If Oakley keeps charging what they did for the Muzm Series 1875 X Metal Editions then maybe they will get it right eventually. Hopefully they can print some new flex T couplers for the Penny frame while they are at it. That little part isn't on the Linegear replacement parts page like almost everything else is.

Oakley officially reissued the MUZM X-Metal Juliet in a very limited drop in Japan, with a raffle at the Oakley Shibuya store in Tokyo and only about 100 pairs made, priced around ¥232,980 (~$1,480–$1,560). It was covered in articles like the one you saw and confirmed by multiple sources reporting the limited release.

Saw something today that seemed like they are dropping sets tomorrow (1/29/26) at noon……. Not sure where you go to get em though

Where did you see that?

Facebook. Upon some digging, it seems it’s gonna be in Santa Monica with some sort of raffle to buy the 4 pairs they are bringing. Sucks, I was set to try and score a drop. By “I” I mean my kids who somehow pull that chit off

I'm 40 minutes away from Santa Monica but I didn't get a chance to go. I was curious to see if it was casted X-Metal or 3D printed, which I think it most likely was, the capabilities are now possible. For the cost of materials used (whatever it is), printing, processing, refining, finishing, and slapping on the Oakley logos, objectively $1,500 makes sense due to its limited supply of 100 made. Practically on the other hand, I wouldn't spend that much on a substitution of the originals.
