Oakley bring back the flesh model in collaboration with LA creative store Braindead. This pair sees plastic modifications to the toebox and heel wrap, a fluffier than normal suede upper and two tone outsole.

A very anticipated release for any Oakley footwear lover, did they do a good job? I think the plastic adaptations are without said unique, they seems to be added in abrasion zones so possibly added for functional purposes, that being said I’ve never had any problems with the uppers scrapping because of the sturdy raised midsole so maybe they are a fashion detail. For anyone thinking the flesh doesn’t need to change from original form, I’m sure we will be seeing some classic colour ways hit stores in the next few years. Opinions? View attachment 952227

I have a pair of the recent release flesh shoes. The sole is ridiculous, uncomfortable and unstable (for me). The bottom of the heel is oversized and has the strange bulbs on it. It makes me feel like I am leaning forward and a strangle wobble while walking.

I can’t imagine how these sandals fit/feel but so would be interested to hear. I usually wear a size 12 and the 12 flesh shoes are a bit snug for sure. Hard to pull on and off for sure.

I’d love to hear someone’s comments on the fit, feel and sizing comparison for the sandals. I would have tried a pair from Oakley with 50/50 send them back but all after market offer no returns which is the reason I am still stuck with the strange feeling flesh shoes.

Thanks for the post. I’m also a size 12 and it’s hard to contemplate sizing up to a size 13 without them looking like clown shoes.

Was able to pick up a pair. My true size 11.5 actually fit pretty nice but I went with 12 to be safe, they are a tad loose though. Still don’t know if I feel confident wearing these, the heel makes me feel like an anime character

These are all likely slated to be released at some point this year or were previous samples. Both that flesh mule and the chopsaw mule are totally new models. Hope they can eventually bring back the og Bobbie mule but would probably cross over too much with the chopsaw mule.
