Maybe so but I am talking about a suit made specifically with sponsor logos names, etc. Like this.

Those would be the date range the suit is certified for competition use. I am not as familiar with FIA certs as I am with SFI certs but they are all basically the same. Once the date is up an item needs to be re certified or no longer used where it is required.
