These OEM Lenses are super hard to find.Where do you find these please? Googling only finds aftermarket ones.
What sort of money are we talking? Whilst would spend £100-200 perhaps because of their collectible status, couldn’t justify much more than that, don’t want to be paying silly money. These OEM Lenses are super hard to find.
I looked for months to find a set.
Basicaly, yes but the curve of the lens is important to the fit....And when people are talking about using a donor lens, is it literally a case of cutting an existing larger one to fit?
Assumed as much so obviously need a very particular lens then.Basicaly, yes but the curve of the lens is important to the fit....

It a layer that can be peeled off with some strong tape and is a bit of a crude and hit and miss method of improving them but you have nothing to loose with these!!I’m assuming this bubbling is some form of delamination. Can this be polished off in anyway to at least maintain the look of the lenses with the x-metal etching? It’s on the inside after all, the external surface is pretty mint.

Was what was thinking, had been watching a YouTube video of a guy peeling off the iridium coating, had assumed was a similar deal. Like you say, will give it a go, nowt to lose!It a layer that can be peeled off with some strong tape and is a bit of a crude and hit and miss method of improving them but you have nothing to loose with these!!![]()
