I don’t think the ® means they are fake. Pretty sure that was used depending on the country. Maybe @Funky-Trixtar could shed more light.

Too my knowledge, I believe it was used in Europe, due to Copyright rules over here. I do think there are copies which do feature the R, but to call them similar(as per their sh1t Icon Text) is pushing things.....TOO FAR!

More info from the seller: He picked these up from a friend who’s a big vintage collector had them at his booth. The arms say made in USA on one side then on the other it says the serial number which is BD5987.
