This has come up in the past and has been proven, there are a few NEJ colorways that were never marketed but were legit. Therefore they are not in the O Review database unless added by a member. I personally have an electric mustard NEJ purchased from an optometrist that was not in the O Review database until I added it.

So you see the quandery I was left in, regarding the authentication. However, since I too, own a pair or two which weren't made available to the general public. I recognise the possibilty of them having been a prototype, due to there being practically all the indicators of this being real.Oakley Flak Jacket 2.0 XL, not sure if these are real or not. Trying to find a pair that is the same online but can't seem to find anything. Nose piece is USA Assembled and Red. I think the serial number/SKU is the thing that throws me off the most. It didn't come with any official authenticity papers either, purchased from amazon from the Oakley store allegedly just came with box case and sleeve and a small information booklet

I think your fine. Its just an older sku thats still being produced and in new packaging.
