Official Fakes/Possible Fakes Inquiry Thread (ARE THESE FAKE? POST FAKES HERE)

They don't have the original ear rubbers which incorporated a lanyard:

That said, the rubbers they've been replaced with are correct in terms of the CE being on the left and 'made in USA' being on the right. Front logo looks ok but couldn't say for certain without seeing the inside of the nosebridge.
Is a 2nd gen racing jacket, not a water jacket. The ear socks are correct for that model. His pictures show racing jacket lenses, ear socks and the nose piece. Its the New Blue / Persimmon, 2nd gen racing jacket.

Hey Friends! Need a quick legit Check on these Pennys! Cheers 🤍

Need help with this Jawbone pair. The earsocks say Livestrong, but there’s no SKU. Is this a legit Livestrong release, or an OCP (Oakley Custom Program) pair?
Thanks in advance.

Hi experts :)

These are advertised near me, but I have some concerns.

He’s advertised them as Juliets, which I originally put down to a mistake, because the SKU is 04-145 which pertains to a 24k XX model, and as far as I am aware, juliets weren’t available in this colorway.

That’s all great..thought he may have just been confused (although they do look like a Juliet frame to me), but if I’m not mistaken, the arms (if a genuine XX), should be hammers right?

To my untrained eye, they otherwise ‘seem’ ok, they have the split hinge unlike most typical fakes, there are hex screws securing the arms to the frame, however the x-metal logo is missing from the rear of the nose bridge from what I can see. 🧐

Any and all input appreciated 🙏 IMG_1112.jpegIMG_1113.jpegIMG_1114.jpegIMG_1115.jpegIMG_1116.jpegIMG_1117.jpeg

You would be correct. This is a "Juliet" frame in a colorway they didn't make, with a XX model number. That alone would make me hesitant. Also the lenses seem to have the incorrect base tint for both fire, which they say these are, or 24k which the XX had in this colorway. . Those use a brown base whereas these appear to be grey.

Thanks Micah 🙏

I didn’t pick up on the lens tint, so that’s another red flag to add to the list.

They seem like a bit of a mish-mash to me. The orbitals (as far as I can tell) look correct for a Juliet, but the nosebridge (no logo) and arms (XX SKU on non-hammers) appear fake.

Appreciate the response :)
