my first personalized sutro lite came with nose pad having 1-2 mm vertical play and loud clicking, despite looking assembled correctly. the local official oakley store refused to work on that and told me to intitialize replacement thingy. after 8 weeks i got replacement (had to threaten with money refund AFTER they already had the glasses back for 5 weeks).
the issue is:
the replacement's nose pad also has noticeable play, now it is horizontally 1 mm + clicking, which seems to be a flaw as my very first pair of oakley (sutro lite sweep) and the 2 dozens I checked in that store I mentioned do not have any play at all in comparison.
What do you guys think? Do I have to go thru that procedure a 2nd time in order to finally get a flawless product or is this play something I have to live with because I just havent found the similar glasses that have this play too?
