Valve Gen 1 Replacement Nose Pads?

Sorry to Hijack this page....

One of the old threads here re: Hatchet, mentioned about Valve being a direct replacement for Hatchet nose bombs.

Basing on what you have suggested, can I assume that....

Nose bombs:

If Hatchet = Valve & Valve = Flak/Half Jacket
therefore:
Hatchet = Flak/Half Jacket
?



Obviously, I need a Hatchet nose bomb

Hatchet on the left is smaller than the valve on the right (the white stuff is just blutack so I could photograph!!). So, you could probably use a hatchet on a valve. But as you can see from the second picture, unfortunately it doesn’t fit well on the hatchet.

It might be worth a try if the Hatchet has similar mounting hooks. The Flak nosebombs are also smaller in size compared to the Valve bombs. Attaching some pics of the Valve mounting hooks and the Flak bombs mounted on the Valve.

Sorry I do not have a Hatchet to try it on, but @cacatman already provided some excellent Hatchet vs Valve pics. And obviously if you can get OEM nosepieces from him, that would be the best option! I plan to stock up on the Valve bombs!
