I'm gonna go with that one being a fake. The pattern on the ear stem is too dalmatian like as opposed to the water swirl effect that is on the LX tortoise frame (example below). The LX frames didn't come in the brown square O boxes either.

That box is definitely too old to be an LX if it came with it, and it doesn't look like there are the LX metal hinges on it but I cant quite tell from that pic. Id say fake. Looks like someone took a clear and painted it up a little
