🦘Which Sellers Do You Trust? Here's Cacatman's Top 29 People I think I can trust to buy from! 😂

Are those sellers though, or people Chris has sold TO? The shipping to Canada line makes it seem like the latter.
Excellent point. That's true.

But if @Chris A Hardaway is putting his name to them as "people he trusts" (who would presumably pass the send $1000 F & F to them without fear), then I don't have a problem putting them down on the second list (other people's recommendations). In that sense, I don't care how he "arrives at" who he recommends, because @Chris A Hardaway has a great name already and it is HE who is putting his name on the line if he recommends people.

The 28 people on the 1st list, I would be quite happy to send a minimum of USD$1000 money for purchased items, without blinking, based on my previous experience/observation of their character re: handling money/other people's properties (I have specified some situations I have specified in the thread).

The list is NOT exhaustive, obviously. I'm pretty sure that 98% of people here on the forum would be in the "Trustworthy" category ie. if you both agreed on a price for something, as long as you sent your money, you'd get exactly what you agreed to pay for. A blacklist would be easier. But O.F. doesn't allow it. So as far as I can see, this is the alternative (but definitely more deficient) way to go.

I also weighed up the fact about making this list vs people getting their "nose out of joint" or be a little miffed they weren't on it. For that, I apologise. But I can only put people on the list who I know by personal experience/clear observation of helping the community. And I believe this list helps:-
1. Strengthen our community
2. Keep people who are already on the list, accountable
3. Benefit the newbies who don't know anyone
4. Gives recognition (and I hope more "business") to people who work very hard to be honest and bless this community, sometimes at expense (of time/money) to themselves (c.f. @Da veracity, @Amak.2DK, @Cutch22, @SiRacer420 and others). These types of people are gold to be found in an otherwise "look after yourself" world).

There are other folks like @Wesleypipesyo or @DeepWaterVortex or @kronin323 or or @dingo ate my baby or @QLR1 who I can say I have definitely a positive gut feeling about (in a financial sense), but I don't have any objective "proof" (in the sense of actual financial dealings with them), so I couldn't include their names in my section of the list.

P.S. Sorry for making "a meal" of this. @pjd1234 will probably post me a Kashton pic!!!! But I'm passionate about this community and the "friends" I've made here.

Now waitaminute, I thought this list was about sellers? I haven't objected to my omission because I don't sell. Now you're saying it's about general trustworthiness? You might be biting off more than you can chew there. This list is turning into more of a popularity contest than anything else.
As always, thank you for the feedback.

My intention was for it to be a "seller" list.

But it's up to @Chris A Hardaway how HE bases his recommendations, given that it is a "sell" list because it's his name that is vouching. Having said that, of course, it is possible to be a good buyer and poor seller c.f. the recent @kashton issue.

To make it clear, the first list of names are people I trust TO SELL (I am not rating them on their buying trustworthiness). For me, personally, I don't put people in my list that I buy from me because of course, they're going to be trustworthy. After all, they want something from YOU!!!!

Sorry but that's contradictory. Either it's a seller list or it's a vouched for (popularity) list. You need to define your parameters and stick to them, please.

I still find this a bit presumptuous. One of those "paved with good intentions" things.
