Everyone should price their items the way they see fit. Educated buyers and sellers will continue to conduct transactions and lesser informed members will ultimately find themselves losing to more experienced persons who have similar visions of value. The list doesn't really change anything for me. I'm not nervous about a list existing either. Every sale depends on just two opinions. The seller and the buyer. Nobody else's matters.

People do take everything so literally. It says a rough guide to x metal pricing. That's all. Rough guide. Nothing is written in stone and just because one person said so doesn't mean everyone needs to subscribe to this way of thinking. If anyone references the thread when countering a seller or making an offer the response can and should be Though it is one persons valuation it is not necessarily the spokesperson for the group. I've watched a lot of items over the years. I've come to terms in my head about the average certain things have sold for. A nice Juliet loose frame with lenses that may need replacing isn't out of the grasp of most buyers for $250-$300 especially if you want t customize them to your taste. I don't expect to see those same frames for $50.00 It just doesn't happen and if it does it's a rarity.

Perhaps, but this is going to get referenced repeatedly in people's sales threads now, and could eventually lead to price manipulation. Things are worth what people want to pay. Is there an average, sure, but an average of such a large sample size isn't helpful. There's too many variables to allow for a list like this.

yep, for sure no one would be upset or get bent from all the view points presented in those discussions. Those would be the truly peaceful arenas to be engaged in.
