X Metal Serial Number

I'd say it ticks the boxes. The hexhead bolts are there, the colour is genuine X Metal, the earstems(although missing the ear socks), look sculpted and refined. The nose bridge looks rigid and the pins look mint. Plus the earstem code matches.
Where are the original Ruby Iridium lenses, though?
Hard to find lenses in good condition around here, the same with the earsocks and nosepads. So the guy basically sells the original frame and the customer choose whatever color of lenses and rubber he thinks it suits, and it's what basically happens everywhere. Really wish Oakley sells spare parts.

I think he is referring to the nosebridge which are allen/hexhead, the orbitals and earstems are torx though.
You can also use a torx bit for the nosebridge screws.
I don’t have a XS frame but I think you have to use a #4 torx.
Maybe someone with a XS frame can confirm that.

Limited Edition Oakley Juliet 24K X-Metal XX 1st Generation Serial #XG001232
I need to correct this after "The X-Man" worked his magic touch on my classics and he informed me they were not Juliet as I was told by a sales guy at a local store in Fargo but "1st generation Oakley X Metal XX 24k sunglasses!" I owe a big shout out to him and appreciate his professional support and advice! The Oakley Forum is such an amazing wealth of knowledge and an asset that needs to be held in the highest regard! Now, if only this community collected one of the many other collections I tend to gravitate towards. Kidding guys but truly want to say thanks to the mods/ staff/ volunteers/Oakley Web Sleuths and everyone who continue to make this a safe but fun Oakley Memory Warehouse.

That's a nice pair you have there. Mine looks very similar, but doesn't have a serial number... so it must be from a different/later run? Mine also got replacement 24K lenses, which are crystal clear now.

On most X-Metals glasses and Time Bomb watches, there is a unique serial number which identifies the item. X-Metal glasses after around December 2004 do not have these numbers, but most out there do have them. Each number has a prefix which identifies the frame/lens color combo:

Howdy, newbie here so don't chew me up. My brother, who recently passed, was an avid Oakley collector. He had Romeo Jordan's with s# 4104, and Juliets with s# x000104. Am I to presume, based on the info here, that these are fairly low production #s? We haven't found the coins, stands, nor boxes, but there is still alotta stuff to go through.

some very cool stuff here. the frames look like they need a bit of work but are very valuable. the romeo 4 digit serial are known as jordan romeo for some reason. worth a bit more than the regular romeo. take your time, reach out if you have any questions to fellow forum members. be weary of anybody trying to dm you trying to buy them before you can list them properly
