no way - people are getting lucky to often these days with the star serial, by the way to short as it the correct serial should have 4 leading 0s

Also from my experince early 1g plasma orbitals sometimes look like they where carved with a knive - this one looks way to clean for early 1g
Can you please provide a picture example of two digit XX serial number to compare?
That will end the conversation....
Another xx x metal , Ti0, XX ..

not sure why you think the 2 digit is diferent from a 3 digit serial just because some glasses popped up recently when fake serials are a service that has been offered openly on ebay like 2 years ago already (I would even say 3-4year IIRC) ... meaning probably it has been done in some parts of the world earlier than that (possibly asia and south america).

My reasoning only taking into account the character sequence: if in fact the ** serial is legit someone would have been vocal about it in 20+ years. Please correct me if I am wrong with a apropriate link that proves your point and is not recent - perfect would be a picture of the barcode side of the label.

On a side note: I have seen a complete machting 2 digits X Metal Juliet on US ebay a while back with four leading 0s (matching to the barcode besides the handwritten logo that is why I rembered it) though I have no picture that I can share as I opted not to buy it

... well two hours later after intensive search with no success and deciding to query the forum for all 1st gen J serials of interest -> here you go (the barcode on ebay was matching):
