These weren’t cheap but given that it’s NOS and I’m a sucker for boxes I caved.

Yeah it’s super unfortunate. I am genuinely displeased by it cause I also collect the posters and I have the MJ Juliet one so you know you gotta have the Romeo one. Next best option is to pay 600$ for one on an overseas site. But that is where I draw the line, 600$ is a few too much for me

agreed for that damage, id ask for 30 percent off (being generous). if he tries to negotiate, just file a return and he can sell it that way to the next buyer

Update: Seller sent me a partial refund which I DID NOT ask for. Now I cannot escalate it to eBay. They are not replying to my messages anymore. This is still a lose win situation in the sellers favor. They shut me up/out and I’m stuck with a poster Id rather return for all my money back than keep literally 35% of what I paid. How is this OK to eBay? Oh wait, it’s eBay.

who cares what he wants. just deal with ebay from this point forward. dont be a puss. state this is not what was shown in photos, damage happened during shipping process, Not Your Fault.

ebay will allow you to return, it will just take a week for the claim to process if he declines to do it himself

How do I escalate it? He sent the partial refund which I clearly stated to him I didn’t want and only wanted my full amount back. But the option for “eBay Money back guarantee” is gone on my order page. It was there before he issued it

He said (i’m assuming in a little sissy english accent) “Sorry mate I’m afraid I cant accept returns because of the possibility of shipping damage” … ok you literally sent me something that’s already lost all its value. Really can’t get worse.
