Disappointed with Deep Water Prizm

If the sun is at your face, DWP, if it’s at your back, shallow water for the win! 🤣 I’m glad someone appreciated my nerd of the day post! Don’t even get me started on the difference between prizm field and prizm trail for spotting small game like squirrel and rabbit!😂

Everyone has a different preference. I like dwp, but I'd take a prizm tungsten for bright days, and I'd take maritime for cloud days over it.

Yeah I'd say DWP is top 3 for me. But everyone's eyes react differently to all types of lenses. If your dime-store, or over-the-counter pair of sunglasses do the job for you, then by all means wear them.
It's one thing to read the specifications on paper than it is to see it through your eyes.
Perhaps it's the rose-based lens that make you squint? Have you tried maybe a Prizm Black Polarized Lens, which is gray based? Just because it says Deep *WATER* doesn't necessarily mean you are absolutely bound to that environment. Try other polarized lenses and see.
But...
If you say that with DWP lenses make you squint, despite of what it says on paper, then those aren't for you. Simple as that.

I love the DWP I live is sunny South Wales so their full potential isn’t reached. But during my 3 years living in Cyprus. DWP was my daily go to lens of choice on and off the water in a Flak Jacket 1.0 frame.

My guess would be transparent frame I bought a pair of transparent Jupiter frame unbearable in the slightest of sunlight for me. Personally I wouldn’t knock the lens until you try it in a non transparent lens

I have sensitive eyes as well, and DWP is my second favorite tint next to Fire. Despite what they say about transmission, I have come to use the DWP as my go to lenses for less than sunny skies, even though they're fine in full sun, even on the water. I agree with the others who say the clear frames may be part of your problem...
