Cleaning discolored/oxidized plasma

Nice results. Would that be just a regular Meguiars compound and does the frame not feel overly smooth/waxy at all?

I used this stuff with a hand towel and some clean garage rags. I did use an old toothbrush in a few hard to reach places, but didn't want to go too crazy. I then cleaned them up really well with a gentle foaming hand soap and warm water. They don't feel much different from my other later gen Plasma frames and it doesn't seem to leave a waxy residue. I went with this product because it appeared to be more of a cleaner than a polish.

I decided to just go for it and I think this stuff might just be magic... ok well maybe not magic, but they look better than I ever thought they would. I used a toothbrush and an old baby's rag and more rubbing compound (wtf... is this an ad). They aren't perfect, but they are sooo much better. You can still see the nose is different, but it is more or less noticeable depending on the angle.

They weren't as bad from the back

The nose was loose before, but the movement from cleaning was all the old rubber inside could take. They need a tune up, but I had to test fit some new p42 lenses from @Chris A Hardaway , a perfect fit!

Yep, I didn't touch the orbitals at all. The lighting in the kitchen is a little funky, but the difference is huge!

Damn if I had a plasma XX I would have traded you. I liked that look it had going on. Nice work though this will help out other members if they should run into this situation.
