Cleaning / Returning to former Glory

Hello O Brothers .

I was recently gifted this after I purchased some Cabinets . It’s slightly tarnished so could do with any advice regarding cleaning it and to return to original condition . Thank you

Abrade to remove corrosion with medium grit Scotchbrite
Solvent wipe with IPA
Apply MIL-DTL-5541 Type II Class 1A chemical conversion coating to protect against corrosion

Isopropyl Alcohol, but a beer should be used to conclude the work.
