Custom Carbon Fibre Juliets - my homage to this wonderful design

@delarscuevas - yes, the whole thing is made from different carbon fibre weaves (braided and plain) and there is other carbon fibre within where the extra strength is required. In terms of the 'flashy' bit, that's probably because of the lacquering I used to finish them and the flash photography or sunlight, in normal light, they are not so 'blingy'.

I have used a matting technique on other stuff I make which works quite well, so I could do it on these too, I will have a go and see how they come out

I wouldn’t want to forego the lacquer if actually wearing them, both aramid and carbon fibre can be skin irritants.

I might suggest the Carbon-X “Capulet” & “Montague “ for the first two... just saying.

Actually, the originals were named after a cigar company, so technically it'd be more in the spirit of it to call them "Benson" and "Hedges".

Although I'll admit that it doesn't quite have the "ring" to it like "Capulet" and "Montague"!!!

now that I did not know... but I agree. the capulet and the montague would be a bad ass set of frame names... all I can think of is baz lurmans and the people in the movie wearing a pair... they would have sooooo fit.

Hi @cacatman, from start to finish they took around 4 days elapsed to complete. Some things take 5-10 hours to complete.

I was expecting a lot longer honestly........again absolutely incredible job on them and the cases.
