I think one year they sent me a discount code for my birthday and I would have used it,
Apart from that I have scored a few deals when buying multiple items in the past from Oakley whether online or in store at a vault.

In saying this, yes email is the best way to resolve pretty much most outcomes, and you are correct be nice and civil about whatever the issue maybe and you will find most things will be resolved.

When the Subzero Stpl bundle came out I bought 2 pairs, received both and found that both of the Subzeros did not have the Pigeon logo etched onto the lens, couple of emails back and forth and approx 2 weeks later I had 2 new lenses shipped and delivered with the logo etched at no charge, now I have 2 spare Subzero lenses to do with what I like.

No I didn't get a promo or discount code, just super stoked to get the issue rectified all the way from Italy.

So yes it does pay to be nice and honest via email.

Good thing I still have the non etched lenses
If I was ever to part with the combo the lenses would go with the set either way. I would even throw in the Stpl shirt that came out at the same time, as a complete bundle set.
