2024 will be the Eye Jackets 30th anniversary. Will Oakley take this opportunity to do anything? They got a quick look at how popular it was after selling out of the Satisfy limited edition model. They already have the molds and its cheap to make.

I really hope so.

As much as I love the x metals and monster dogs and other Oakley models, the eye jacket will always be the model that brought me to the brand back in the 90s.

Still absolutely love them today.

Needs to be proper retro though. Splatter paint or something like that

Mars came out in 1998, so this year is the 25th anniversary. That’s probably why they are doing the $2300 Mars Jordan.

The eye jacket is much cheaper to make though. Ideally, I’d love a new Eye Jacket 1 colorway each month for the whole year of 2024. Make 5000 each of them to start, if they sell out fast then up the next month an additional 1000.

As long as they don’t go overboard and totally redesign the thing like they did the Valve. Imagine a square Moon. Lol.

The design itself isn’t to thin right? It was just because of the inferior brittle plastic that made it break? The arm and orbital thickness looks about the same as an eye jacket.
