Hello! First time posting here so looking forward to getting active. I only own one pair of Oakleys, but I’m planning on getting a new pair with prescription lenses. I recently tried the Fire Orange on at a local Oakley store and loved them, but I’m just looking for a little advice before ordering them in. I’d like to get Prizm lenses and I’m aware that the stock pair comes with the Prizm Trail Torch, but I was thinking of trying them with the Prizm Ruby Iridium Polarized. I’m not sure if that would look any good or suit the frame, but I’m not apposed to trying something else if anyone has any good suggestions. I own a black Gascan with Prizm Tungsten Iridium Polarized Lenses which I love but I’m not sure how the Prizm Ruby Iridium Polarized would compare. If anyone could help that would be great. Thank you!

So IMO im not a huge fan of Ruby, but it depends on the frame and base curve of the lens.

Prizm Ruby, and even newer generations of ruby iridium, lost their "ruby" look and became more orange kinda like old school fire lenses before they become more 24k gold looking. This is especially so the flatter the base curve.

Now, I dont think Ruby would look terrible in the frame, but I would be prepared for it not to have that rich red like old ruby, torch or even road has.

Tungsten Polarized is one of (if not their best) lenses imo. How does it look with the customization option on the website?

I did not know this, but when I was trying to find actual images of the lense I noticed there were some that were more fire and some that were more red. I will definitely take that into consideration thank you for letting me know. It’s unfortunate that they lost that look to them

Yes it’s so good. When originally ordering my prescription Gascans, which are a matte black frame with gunmetal Icon, they gave me Prizm 24k Polarized lenses. They didn’t look bad but it wasn’t what I ordered, so I got my pair back with the Tungsten and I couldn’t be more happy about them.

These Eye Jackets though unfortunately won’t let me preview the lenses on the frame on the site. It will only let me preview it with the black frame, so I’ve kind of been eyeballing it
