I didn’t find this to be the case when comparing the two. I would say the MUZM has a smoother finish and feels less “forged” than the rough industrial feel of the originals.

I guess you'd expect that, Tech has come on in a quarter of a Century, Although XM (at least Original Gen) are nicer with their unique imperfections from Casting (Not Forging)

I posted this on the new releases MUZM Mars page but thought some may be interested without reading the 150+ pages so moving it here instead. Also some comparison pictures.

This was comparing an original restored Jordan Mars leather with a new release limited edition MUZM Mars. I opened both for the first time to see what I got and x compare the two.
