Glasses other than oakley?

Okay, so I may or may not have mentioned this here, but I once accidentally stepped on one of my favorite pairs of sunglasses (Oliver Peoples Victory 55). Lens weren't damaged, thankfully, but the frame was bent fairly badly.

With some help of my local optometrists I got them adjusted to a wearable state, but they really just... Never felt quite right ever since.

Once I got a spare pair, I ended up taking the leap and sent my bent pair off to All American Eyeglass Repair. Felt weird to do, but at that point I really didn't have anything to lose so I figured why not?

Just got them back today and... Wow. They feel practically brand new. I can't say enough good things about this service.

I may have a frame or two to send them in the near future. I’m usually pretty good (not expert, by any means) at adjusting metal frames but there’s one or two that just never felt… “right”.
Glad to know there’s someone skillful enough to master the craft of correcting metal frames.

The dude was really responsive, called me once he got the glasses, called me back in about a couple of hours when he was done, sent them back out the same day he got 'em.

The quality of this frame is MUCH better compared to their collab with Kiton (model tondo). Obviously, very different frame material vs the tondo’s I had but these overall are much better and feel like a frame from a completely different brand. Since becoming a JMM addict, I’ve become accustomed to the wonderful & hefty Japanese acetate. I have to admit, the Italian acetate in these LT-03’s are very much comparable to JMM’s. Also, something we don’t find much with JMM acetate is a unique raw finish (and that’s perfectly okay) as with the Movitra, they have just the right amount on contrasted texture on front of the orbitals.

As a now, JMM “enthusiast”, I’m surprised to say - these movitra’s really have it going for them, at least with the LT-03’s. Beautiful details throughout. included all the driver attachments for future frame adjustments/tightenting, hard case, velvet cloth (not really that good for wiping smudges from the lenses), brand info booklet, Zeiss optics booklet, folding instructions & serial card with frame info.
