Glasses other than oakley?

One of the things I love about Wiley-X & even their subsidiary, DVX, they have their Z87 embossed right onto the temple-arm & some have it on the back side of the bridge, too.

I decided to get the Glass lens in my newest order from Costa, because they were on sale for $140 & I had a half-price code.
Not sure why, but the Poly lens was NOT part of the sale.

I also noticed, in the past, that the Glass lens is less Dramatic with the Rosy effects, which might actually be a good thing, & the Clarity is bound to be better than the Poly.

these are both Costa Tuna Alley, the tortoise ones just arrived,
intention is to put the Green Mirror 580G lens into the tan frames, which have Olive accents

That is a gold iKon lens in the tan ones, which are actually great.

Really loving these RayBan RB3721CH

I'll hold judgement on the lense until a brighter day. Only came home to them now....and the light is fading. I was a bit worried they might be too big......but I think the fit me fine.

Has anyone any advice/experience on/with the Smith Optics Chromapop Opal (blue) Glass lens?
I thought about your inquiry when I saw this today:

The same applies to Wiley-X Captivate. Their idea of contrast-boost is to keep the colors Neutral.

Brand / LensBase TintContrast LevelBest Environment
Maui Jim HCL BronzeBronze/AmberExtremely HighGeneral outdoor, driving, beach
Oakley Prizm Shallow WaterRose/AmberMaximum DetailFishing, trail running, hiking
Smith ChromaPop BrownBrownHigh/NaturalHigh-altitude, bright sun, snow
Costa 580G (Amber)AmberHigh/CrispOpen water, extreme glare

I feel kind of foolish now, because I went after Deep Water instead of Shallow Water.
Apparently Costa's Green Mirror has either a Copper or Amber base-tint, depending on who you ask.
Some claim the Silver Mirror has more contrast, with a Yellow/Gold base, but it is only available in Glass.

I concur about High-Contrast Bronze from Maui Jim.
Just took Smith & Spy off my lists this week. Costa is barely on my list, because only the Tuna Alley fits me & they seem to not be keen on making a half-rim/semi-rimless.

I guess I should covet the old pair of Costa Galveston I have, the lens in those is magical.

OK....received my 1st ever pair of Costa del Mar sunnies today.

Borderline too small for me.....a hairdryer to open them a tiny bit and I think I'll get away with them.

With the exception of Prizm Tungsten Polarised.....these are the most vibrant lenses I've had in a pair of sunglasses.

Green/Copper 580P

Big so far..... (although I've only had them 30 mins)

For some reason I can't upload photos.... I'll try again later.
