I started with an Ashton Connecticut. I don't age cigars, I smoke them. LolI technically started at fourteen with a Montecristo No.2 Habana, and then picked it up again in force four years later. To which I know have 2,585 cigars aging in and out of boxes.
When I hit 18, my first was a Padron 2000 Maduro, depending on the cigar, aging can really open up the blend, with the extra time of the tobaccos marrying. It’s like the common recommendation of aging an Opus X out of the box for two years, as some blends just aren’t ready to be fully enjoyed.I started with an Ashton Connecticut. Then in my case I’ve got so many, I can afford the time to let a lot of them age.
