How to remove soft vault Icon?

Hello OF,

Need some help, I’m going to attempt to Chrome the X icon on the Xmetal Soft Vault, but before I just rip it off I wanted to check if anyone has any suggestions on removing it, I’m not sure how it is attached. Below is the vault I’m referring too. Thanks for your help!

I’ve been wondering this too.
Mine is cracked and I’m thinking about having a carbon fibre one made.

It looks like a small stud comes through the case and then gets flattened out somehow.

Just push the pin through with any implement
It comes out fairly easily with a bit of force.

It will break the melted lugs if but you can glue back in easily with - hot glue works best.
