Seeing all the potential pitfalls of purchasing the PB on eBay, I decided against making an ill advised purchase. I lucked out however in that the Oakley store not to far from my house had a pair of PB on their display shelf forever. After examining them for any damage/scratches and trying them on I made the purchase. I may have paid more but I have the piece of mind in knowing they are real.

I didn't realise there is a thread for this! Well, now I am scared that what I bought is a fake PB/
Price was $200 and end of the stems were bitten by probably a dog so I thought this is the reason why he is selling it cheap. Anyhow this is the ebay link, I did not do my initial research, got to excited now that I finished reading this thread I found out the the SKU model on the ebay item is 03-302, checked on oakley website there is no SKU as that! Grrr... Item is now on route to me but scared I will end up with a fake PB.Damn*t Foakleys

I saw that auction and they were fake bro! sorry Always ask for details from the seller and do more research before buying it. That's what I did before buying my PB, and that is also the reason how I found this forum.

Seller did his own research and contacted Oakley and offered a return and pay for the return shipping as well. I think he does not know it was a fake too. Now he is stuck with it hope he wont relist it after i return.
