Just got these 5 the other day. Any tips on cleaning them?

Because of the surprised reaction, I'm guessing the person that did that video never had an Oakley lens delaminate on them. But in order to truly clean your pair, you need to take things apart as much as possible. Junk gets into the grooves of your lenses. Junk gets underneath your ear socks and especially nose rubbers. I wouldn't want to even put screws into water because they will rust. And I've seen a lot of Splices with rusty screws.🤙

And I would never put a lens in an ultra sonic cleaner. Oakley or aftermarket. There are specific cleaning solutions to use on your lenses, and even the wipes you use with those solutions.

yeah when i cleaned my a wires i just used a soft brush and warm water. i did take them all the way apart tho. then once dry i used a q tip and a little motor oil to lube all the metal pieces and frame up and wiped it off with a towel. not sure if dish soap is safe on the plastic minute 1.0 type of frames ?

I've used dish soap on my O-matter frames. Seems safe enough because that's what you use on things that you eat with,

View attachment 1280625Hi, i just added these 5 (straight jacket, minute 1.0, Disclosure, Flak 2.0) the other day to my small
collection. any tips on washing them as they have a little bit of dirt and build up on the frame and inner lenses? The minutes seem to be pretty rare can’t find many of them online.

@Jon the Don has the best cleaning method I’ve seen to date

I break things down to almost molecular level when I get cleaning , I re-write the DNA
