So I was stripping down a Valve 1.0 frame and ran into another clear ear stem/hinge piece. A little curve ball as I had different plans for this piece. Might have to save it for another project.
So I was trying out some painting today. Right away I didn't like how my first project (purple Valve) was going and stopped. I'm thinking I'm scrapping it and starting over. Didn't like the finish and the color (Sorry @Broccoli). I used a blue Valve so you can see the color difference. My second project (silver Valve) was a disappointment as well, though I kinda took that pair almost to the finishing stages. Thought it was going to be more shiny. But if I can finish it decently, then I might keep it as is just to see how it holds up.

The silver looks nice!
Mahalo sir. It’s only like the 6th or 7th frame I’ve ever painted. I had some bad luck so far with my finishes. I think I’m getting better.

Looks superb to me! Airbrush I’m guessing? I have one I got and used about once. This is some great inspiration to pull it out of retirement
