MUZM Mars

Man I want to make a joke here so bad but I’m going to stop myself

i want to wake up to just one person arguing my mars comments that everyone was getting so mad about earlier. Also I hope you don’t read as slow as Steve price. 8 pages in 30 minutes. I’m worried his legs might fall off tomorrow if he reads at the same pace
What page I'll see if I can help you with that.

Yeah. He coulda had the runs.
I hate saying this because some of my favorite Oakley collectors are Michigan fans. But……… yeah it’s difficult for a Michigan fan to do arduous tasks at the same time. If you are a Michigan fan and reading this arduous means hard. Hahahah damn it, I said I wouldn’t hahahaha

You were right I went out and visited my buddies glass blowing studio ate an edible smoked a little and here these are the facts

Is it disrespectful to make an exact replica of an item designed by people your company fired years ago ….. leave that to your own opinion

The Tesla quote that George posted is totally correct. “I’m not mad they are making them, I’m made they don’t have an idea of their own.” And I know I quoted that wrong I’m baked

Why didn’t they either use a different leather color stitch color or lens color from the original. Especially with all the new lens colors and technologies lux has created.

Name me one item in the world where a remake or replica of an original is somehow worth more than the original item. We all know what mars sell for. On eBay what 1k ish, and in here I don’t know I don’t look at them. I’ve never been a metal collector. So for Oakley lux to say hey these 135 or whatever they claim and everyone knows isn’t correct are now worth xxxxx 2 times more than an original was laughable. I purchased an original ejection seat from oakley for less than one of these.

If you own an original you think this helped the value of yours? And for those who purchased to flip I don’t feel bad for stupidity.

1985 Lamborghini Countach 91k - 100k
2022 Lamborghini Countach 2.7mil

I don't think anyone has ever said that $2,300 was a great price for the Mars release. The fact it was released again, cool, and great for those that were able to get it. From this post it just seems like you are upset that the original Metals are not worth as much as what Lux has set the market for the new ones.

It’s not exact replica. Real countach 91k replica countach. 40 and the new ones a complete redesign correct? Or are you talking like about a special like small shop that is retrofitting an old one.

I’m goofing on people that purchased the new ones a little. People were saying, you are just obsessed with Jim and blah blah blah. They proved they are just obsessed with Oakley. It’s hillarious Oakley tried this, and funnier that people paid it. Again if you’re really really rich like some of these members are flexing it’s nothing. But by you paying these prices proves oakley buyers are suckers. You could have had 2 originals plus a handful of frogs for the same price. Also if you think none of these will end up at a lux sale on a couple years for 50-70 bucks you’re wrong. Oakley didn’t make no 135 of these.

I'm talking about the 2022, but the 25th anniversary one was priced higher and the 1985 one. My point is value change. The value of the new Mars may come down and the older ones will be worth more if that's your thing. But no need to get onto someone for purchasing something that they wanted.
