New Plantaris Collab Incoming: Podpah x Oakley

I disagree. I think it's a very nice colab. They are incorporating many elements from the past into this collaboration. I like very much the shoes released in Brazil, such as Teeth 1, Flak, and Air Strip, and now this new model that's inspired by some of these models. The Brazilian Podcast is thinking about the Brazilian public, who are crazy about those shoes, and everybody knows how the Medusa is an iconic item there. I think this was a very well-thought-out colab focused on Brazil. I'm definitely getting shoes, shirts, and Plantaris.
Many of you are saying bad things about the Plantatis, but you guys keep buying it. That's funny.

I think the frustration is not so much about the model or design but the lack of unique colorways and use of lenses other than grey black and brown.

What a boring collab....the only part of this thats worthwhile is the snow sapphire lens. They've offered such garbage lenses so far that anything other than grey is exciting.

I know some people may not agree, but the whole plantaris line has been a huge letdown. Talk about opportunity wasted....

I think the Plantaris collabs have all been great, but most of us here in the US have only gotten 2 with the Undefeated and Brain Dead pair and they all released with lenses we either already had (tungsten prizm) or one that isn't a fan favorite (sapphire).

they cant mass produce them otherwise they'll lose appeal just like the nike dunks. no one wants or wears dunks after everyone could have them in every color.

and plus.. if you one were to start reading the main Plantaris thread from the beginning, EVERYONE was sh!#ting on them, almost everyone.

just cause I'm curious what would have made it less of a "boring collab" @MicahS?

To @bmha's point. I think this is a pretty well thought collab that appeals to the Brazil market,,, just sucks for us cause of the tariffs lol

Does Oakley even offer replacement lenses for the Plantaris? I can’t find a link on Oakley’s site.

Only lux would create a frame with easy lens replacement and then not offer any lens replacements.

Aftermarket is all over it though... you can get true emerald from LG

Right, but this is proving my point. Oakley creates a frame with easy lens interchangeability, then offers no lens replacements on their public-facing website, and only offer standard-colorway lenses on a parts portal that 99% of customers don’t realize exists. I actually like the prizm sports lens (golf, trail, field, etc) and was hoping they would release those lens. Oh well, like @XxRuMKaxX said, at least there are other lens manufacturers.
