[Updated] UNDFTD x Oakley Plantaris AND NSJ 😱 Collab INCOMING

Both my arms are faded/cracking. They all like this? Hopefully undefeated will let me exchange them if they aren't.

They sent me plantaris without the bag they only offered a $15 refund, they can't replace em for me so im pretty tight about the whole purchase. I'd guess if they're sold out on the bengal you are **** out of luck on a replacement. I'd maybe reach out to warranty department instead, which is route I'm going with fingers crossed they turn out something better than fifteen ****'n dollars

It kinda reminds me of the old Grey bags, they had the same feel.

They had stock, they sent me a label and are going to refund shipping for the new pair I offered. Wow, I'd be pissed too.

Oakley warranty may have some pairs, back when i warrantied an eye jacket they gave me the option of a kith, piet, or brain dead pair. The first two weren't even on Oakley.com, second not even in the USA.

Between boxes and graphics, seems like this release was rushed with little QC.

My box is fine, a few of the stripes on the arms aren’t as crisp as the orbitals on mine and there’s a tiny, but noticeable white dot in one of the temple stripes.

That all being said, I like’em and I’ll be wearing them today.

Just received mine today and the paint job on the outside was good but a lot of parts on the inner side of the glasses had fading on the stripes. Just gonna suck it up as its only on the inside and i’ll probably just hand it to one of my fam members as a christmas gift lol

Yea this is an issue for sure... both my arms are much lighter... almost greyish instead of black stripes and the orbs are a very nice deep black. Ill be checking them closer tomorrow when there is more light but kinda disappointing. I do think the pattern though has some intentional breaks and unevenness like a real tiger would.

I got my replacement pair today. The arms are nowhere near as faded as the original pair. Good thing I did get it replaced, because when I folded the arms back up, one fell off. I looked closer and it was cracked. I did take the arms off to swap between frames to see which one the new ones would look better on. Taking the arm off once shouldn't cause it to crack. I've swapped arms on so many pairs and never had this happen.

The new pair is pretty good, my only complaint is the print for the model number was printer a millimeter higher so you can kinda see it from the side. I'll take that over the horrible fade (entire arm, the end was even worse) and cracked arm of the first pair.

If you don't like your pair because of defects, their CS is pretty good and fast to take care of the issue.

You say it cracked, just popping the earstem off: no, that definitely shouldn't have occurred. Maybe on the 1st Generation, but not on the New Starights.
